Job description

We are seeking a Solution Architect with 4–7 years of experience to design and deliver end-to-end technology solutions across key financial domains including Payments, Investor Services & Trade, Pricing & Billing, and Liquidity Management. The role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architectures that align with enterprise standards and support critical financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into technical solution designs.
• Define architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, data teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.
• Lead solution design workshops and provide technical leadership during delivery.
• Oversee integration of multiple systems including payments platforms, trading systems, billing engines, and treasury systems.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance frameworks.
• Support API-led, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Provide guidance on cloud adoption and modernisation initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture governance forums.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid knowledge of system integration patterns (APIs, messaging, middleware).
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Proficiency in data architecture concepts (data modelling, data flows, ETL).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security architecture and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of modern application architectures (containerisation, Kubernetes).
• Ability to create architecture artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, documentation).

Domain Experience (Highly Preferred)

• Payments: Payment processing systems, gateways, transaction flows, settlement.
• Pricing & Billing: Pricing engines, billing platforms, revenue systems.
• Liquidity Management: Treasury systems, cash flow management, liquidity reporting.
