This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician with strong experience in industrial robotics, electrical maintenance and fault finding.
Repair, maintain and optimise industrial robots to meet quality and production standards.
Perform preventative maintenance and fault finding in line with maintenance schedules, job cards and work instructions.
Troubleshoot robotic applications, electrical systems and presses.
Complete accurate maintenance and repair feedback and documentation.
Ensure adherence to company procedures, quality systems and work instructions.
Work in accordance with all SHEQ requirements and actively participate in departmental initiatives.
NQF Level 6 qualification.
Qualified Electrician, Millwright, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation professional.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Robot Technician within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Extensive hands‑on experience with ABB and KUKA industrial robots.
Strong electrical fault‑finding and maintenance capabilities.
Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic drawings.
Experience with manufacturing processes and industrial presses.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Sound understanding of quality systems and technical maintenance practices.
