Job summary

Profile Personnel supports a leading manufacturing and automation organisation in Pretoria seeking an experienced PLC Specialist to join its technical team. The role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong automation, PLC programming, robotics and electrical fault-finding experience.

The successful candidate will repair, maintain and troubleshoot robots and automated equipment, conduct fault-finding across systems, and participate in improvements while ensuring quality and safety

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in instrumentation, electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• 5 years’ automation/instrumentation experience, including 2–3 years in an electrical/automation technician role.
• Extensive PLC programming experience with Siemens S5/S7 and TIA Portal.
• Experience with Siemens, ABB and KUKA robotics, including KRC4.
• Strong knowledge of automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, presses and robotics maintenance.
• Good fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Requirements
