Job summary

Job description

One of our clients, an international manufacturer of automotive components, has an opening for a Robot Specialist.

Primary purpose of the job:

Perform general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance as well as fault finding maintenance on industrial robots, projects installations and robotic applications standards.

Key Performance Areas:

• Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
• Fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction.
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data.
• Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times.
• Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement.
• Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions.

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Fault finding and robots repair and maintenance KUKA and ABB

Minimum qualification / experience required:

• Extensive working knowledge of ABB and Kuka robots
