Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Risk and Security Officer for our Montague Gardens Distribution Centre in Cape Town. The role focuses on ensuring H&S compliance within the DC, and coordinating closely with the security and facilities manager to minimize loss and manage risk.

Key duties include managing security SLAs, conducting risk investigations, implementing security and safety programs, and overseeing CCTV systems while ensuring reporting and corrective actions are carried out.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years safety and risk management experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24/hr environment.
• Security and CCTV management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage security service level agreement
• Risk related investigations
• Develop and implement security and safety programs
• Minimize financial loss related to theft, vandalism, accidents and injuries
• Develop ways for detecting safety issues and security violations
• Develop and implement and monitor H&S plan, processes and procedures and administration in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, relevant by laws and SANS standards
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results and corrective actions taken
• Conduct quarterly risk assessments
• Manage CCTV and service level agreement
