Job summary

Clicks Group in Cape Town is seeking a permanent Compliance Manager to drive operational compliance across the Clicks brand. You will oversee risk identification, reporting, and scorecarding to safeguard business performance and drive improvements.

You will coordinate SOP updates with stakeholders, manage store communications and lead a high-performing compliance team to meet strategic objectives and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive and evaluate operational compliance in the Clicks brand to prevent loss and risk to the business.
• Manage areas of risk identified by highlighting and reporting on benchmarks set by the business through compliance score-carding.
• Manage updating of SOPs through the compliance team to improve business performance.
• Coordinate information for score carding to provide the business with information on operational performance.
• Coordinate communications with stores to ensure awareness of information affecting store operations.
• Lead, develop and manage the compliance team to achieve business objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders regarding new initiatives impacting store processes and risk.

Introduction

Drive and evaluate operational compliance in the Clicks brand by providing information and reports from the compliance officers and other stakeholders in order to prevent loss and risk to the business.

§ To ensure consistency in store operations by driving compliance to systems and procedures and liaising with relevant stakeholders.

§ To manage areas of risk identified by highlighting and reporting on benchmarks set by the business through compliance score-carding.

§ To manage the updating of SOP's through the compliance team and other stakeholders to improve business performance.

§ To manage and co-ordinate the information for score carding thereby providing the business with information to evaluate operational performance.

§ To manage and co-ordinate all communications accurately with stores ensuring that they are aware and informed of relevant information affecting store operations.

§ To manage the effectiveness of the compliance team to achieve business objectives.

§ To manage, co-ordinate, implement and track new business process initiatives

§ To complete trend analysis on Compliance risk to highlight areas of concern for corrective action.

§ To engage with relevant stakeholders regarding new initiatives that impact stores processes & risk.

• To build a high performing team through effective people management and development in order to ensure capability to meet current and future business objectives as well as effective delivery & growth

§ To effectively influence, network and reach decisions with business partners across functions for the effective implementation of strategy and day-to-day business issues

Education and Experience Requirements

• 4-6 years Retail management experience
