Footgear in South Africa is seeking a capable retail supervisor to drive store operations and meet sales targets. The role requires hands-on experience in retail administration, cash procedures, and stock management.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership, a merchant mindset, and the ability to work under pressure, including shifts, weekends, and holidays. You will oversee a small team and contribute to a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years retail experience, supervisory or similar role.
• Proficient with Outlook and Excel; familiarity with retail systems.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Capable of managing a staff of around 4 employees.
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and ensure sales targets are met.
• Handle retail administration, cash procedures and till reconciliation.
• Manage stock levels and stocktaking processes.
• Lead and support a small team to deliver high customer service.
