Job summary

Eskort is seeking a seasoned Retail Store Supervisor with at least 5 years in a retail setting, preferably in leadership roles within the meat sector. The role emphasizes stock control, merchandising, and high standards of product quality and safety.

Responsibilities include inventory management, employee relations, visual displays, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with HACCP and OHSA regulations to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required (Non-Negotiable).
• Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business or related qualification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Stock management: ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Housekeeping and HACCP compliance across the store.
• Employee management: recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Store organisation: visual merchandising and promotions, shelf replenishment, non-moving items.
• Cash management: daily cashups and loss prevention.
• Customer service: deliver excellent service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• System administration: manage staff clockings and store security systems.
