Ares Holdings is seeking a Retail Controller to ensure accurate POS reconciliation across all retail stores, validating payments by cash, card, vouchers, and digital wallets. The role will identify variances and collaborate with store managers to resolve discrepancies while ensuring timely financial reporting.

The position requires at least 2 years in finance with POS reconciliation, familiarity with ERP/POS systems, and a strong eye for process improvement and compliance with audit standards.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years practical finance experience with POS, cash, card, and electronic payment reconciliations.
• Knowledge of high-volume transactional environments and reconciliation variances.
• Experience working on an accounting system or ERP in retail or operational finance context.
• Experience collaborating with store operations or non-finance stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Reconcile daily POS transactions from all retail stores.
• Validate all tender types (cash, card, vouchers, digital payments).
• Identify, investigate, and resolve POS variances.
• Collaborate with store managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor banking and cash-up processes for accuracy.
• Prepare weekly and monthly POS reconciliation reports.
• Highlight recurring issues and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports.
• Analyse POS trends and highlight anomalies.
• Report unresolved issues to the Group Accounting Manager.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and reconciliations.
