Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Retail Stock Controller in Soweto to manage inventory and ensure product availability. You will oversee stocktaking, inbound/outbound goods, and liaise with internal teams to maintain accurate records, minimize discrepancies, and maximize stock availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Proficient with inventory software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across stock areas.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies, investigating root causes.
• Oversee receiving, unpacking, and dispatching of goods according to procedures.
• Implement stock control measures to minimize shrinkage and maximize stock availability.
• Organize and maintain stockroom cleanliness and efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding stock levels and deliveries.
