Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity for a Pharmacist at our Elarduspark in Gauteng. You will dispense medications, provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensure the safe use of prescription medications.

The role requires SAPC registration, BPharm, and 2–3 years of retail pharmacy experience, with strong computer skills and a patient‑centred approach. Market salary, medical aid, provident fund, and staff benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric
BPharm / equivalent qualification
Registered with the SAPC
Min 2-3 years' experience in Pharmaceutical
2-3 years retail pharmacy experience
Computer literate – MS Office

Responsibilities

Dispensing of Medication under direct personal supervision of Pharmacist
Accurately interpret scripts and act within legal requirements
Capture script details accurately and verify patient details on the system
Ensure accurate picking / packing / labelling and checking of medication
Provide accurate instructions to patients regarding medicine use
Keep abreast of changes in medical aid procedures and requirements for claims and dispensing
