Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity for a Pharmacist at our Phesantekraal Store in Western Cape. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective use of prescription medications.

Essential requirements include BPharm, SAPC registration, Grade 12, and 2–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical retail. Computer literacy (MS Office) is also required.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacist with BPharm and SAPC registration.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical retail.
• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer-literate.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under pharmacist supervision and ensure legal compliance.
• Provide patient counselling and service at the dispensary and front shop.
• Handle claims submissions and maintain patient profiles.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock takes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper labeling and safety.
