Placements24 is seeking a diligent Retail Operations Assistant to support Randburg, Gauteng store operations. The role focuses on inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

You will assist with stock handling, visual displays, and basic customer inquiries, contributing to a positive team environment and store efficiency. This is a part-time position with competitive hourly wages and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of merchandise.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and stock counts to ensure accuracy.
• Support visual merchandising efforts by arranging displays and maintaining store presentation standards.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low stock items to management.
• Assist with maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
• Process customer transactions and handle basic customer inquiries as needed.
• Support the sales team by ensuring products are readily available and well-presented.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to store operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
