Placements24 seeks a motivated Retail Floor Supervisor for our Vereeniging store to oversee daily sales floor operations, drive customer satisfaction, and help achieve store targets. You will lead a team of sales associates, ensure visual merchandising standards, and manage stock movements with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has retail supervisory experience, excels in customer service, and can communicate clearly under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail sales or supervisory role.
• Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of retail sales processes and visual merchandising.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail management education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the sales floor team, ensuring optimal performance.
• Assist customers with inquiries, providing product information and exceptional service.
• Drive sales by implementing effective sales strategies and promotions.
• Ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively and in line with visual merchandising guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and replenishment.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively and professionally.
• Train and mentor new sales associates, ensuring they understand product knowledge and service standards.
• Assist the store manager with operational tasks, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Contribute to achieving store sales targets and key performance indicators.
