Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Merch ERP Product team, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions within a retail planning context.

You will guide system processes, identify integrations, and drive development and rollout of new products, while ensuring security policies are upheld across all systems. Strong leadership and Agile experience are essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 8–10 years relevant experience including people and financial management.
• Experience in Retail, particularly in the planning disciplines.
• Exposure to Retail Merchandise Planning and Buying processes.
• Experience with retail merchant solutions (e.g. JDA PMM).
• Strong commitment to professional service delivery.
• Ability to drive strategic IT changes.
• Planning and organizing ability.
• Process-oriented mindset.
• Innovative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall system and team management for the Merch ERP Product team.
• Collaborate with the business to translate requirements into business and technology specs.
• Provide business and system process guidance for Planning Product/Service.
• Identify integration requirements between systems to meet business needs.
• Develop, maintain, and implement new products/systems per identified requirements.
• Conduct user testing to ensure the product meets needs.
• Deliver train-the-trainer and business demos for senior users when required.
• Correspond with the business and users on implementation/rollout.
• Collect, process and report data for the business.
• Advise on enhancements to existing products.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of planning and retail environment to support and assist with support.
• Ensure the company security policy is implemented and maintained across systems.
