Job summary

Eastern Personnel Consultants / Oostelike Personeel Konsultante is seeking a Centurion Retail Branch Bookkeeper to own daily financial and branch accounting in a fast-paced retail store. You will oversee cash controls, debtor accounts, and supplier reconciliations, reporting to Store Manager with Head Office Finance oversight.

The role requires 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, and proficiency with Pastel or similar ERP systems in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Matric with Accounting; tertiary bookkeeping/accounting qualification preferred.
• Solid bookkeeping up to Trial Balance in retail/trade environment.
• Proficiency with retail ERP and accounting software required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers, manage floats and daily till reconciliations.
• Handle debtors, allocate payments and manage credit limits.
• Process supplier invoices and reconcile GRNs with POs for monthly payments.
