Job summary

Mr Price Group in Moses Kotane Local Municipality, North West, is hiring an Assistant Manager to cover store manager duties in their absence. You will help maintain standards in housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline and security while leading frontline staff.

Responsibilities include customer service, implementing sales initiatives to hit targets, overseeing cash office and front-end controls, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics an advantage) or NQF Level 4.
• Previous experience managing a department.
• Previous clothing retail experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Relieve store manager in their absence.
• Maintain housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline and security.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Assist store manager in staff management.
• Oversee the cash office and front-end controls.
• Minimize stock loss.
• Introduce sales initiatives to reach store targets.
