Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a busy Bloemfontein retail location. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, cash handling, and policy adherence while guiding a team to deliver strong sales and service.

The role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for retail excellence. You'll drive customer satisfaction, manage inventory and merchandising, and contribute to scheduling and performance management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or assistant management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong customer service and sales skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
• Good understanding of retail operations, including inventory control and visual merchandising.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing, cash management, and adherence to company policies.
• Supervise and support a team of retail associates, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met, handling customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
