Placements24 is seeking a Resort Housekeeping Supervisor for a property in Mahikeng to oversee daily cleaning operations of guest rooms and public areas, ensure high cleanliness standards, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, manage inventory of supplies, train new teammates, and coordinate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to established cleanliness and quality standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, placing orders as needed.
• Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housekeeping operations within Mahikeng.
