Placements24 is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and public area operations at a Welkom property. You will ensure immaculate cleanliness, order, and a welcoming guest environment while supervising a sizable team and enforcing high standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in a supervisory housekeeping position, proficiency in housekeeping software and MS Office, and strong organizational and budgeting skills. This is a full-time, on-site role in the Free State region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or management role within housekeeping.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and pest control.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the property.
• Manage and lead the housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, performance management, and motivation.
• Oversee inventory control for linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective management.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage the department's budget, controlling expenses while maintaining quality.
