Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Designer specializing in residential projects to join our client in Tembisa. You will conceptualize and develop innovative residential designs from initial client consultations through to detailed construction documentation, with a strong eye for sustainability.

The role requires a solid portfolio, proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering (SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion), and knowledge of local building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience in residential architectural design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion).
• Knowledge of local building codes and planning regulations applicable to residential developments.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and functional residential designs from concept to construction drawings.
• Conduct client meetings to understand requirements and provide design recommendations.
• Prepare presentation materials, including renderings and 3D visualizations, to communicate design intent.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in residential architecture and sustainable building practices.
