Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Designer in Sandton to translate innovative concepts into drawings, models, and compelling visual presentations. You will work within a collaborative studio environment on a diverse portfolio from concept through design development.

The role requires a degree in Architecture or related field, hands-on experience, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools. Excellent communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Architecture or a related design field.
Proven experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion).
Strong conceptual thinking and visual design skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop creative architectural design concepts and translate them into drawings and models.
Prepare high-quality presentation materials, including renderings, diagrams, and physical models.
Collaborate with project architects and senior designers on design solutions.
Conduct research into materials, technologies, and design precedents.
Assist in the preparation of design development documentation.
Participate in design reviews and client meetings.
