Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design initiatives in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will oversee the architectural process from concept to completion, ensuring design integrity and client satisfaction while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires PrArch qualification with substantial experience, lead project delivery, and strong knowledge of Revit, BIM, and construction methods. You will engage with clients, regulators, and contractors to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• PrArch qualification with substantial experience.
• Experience leading architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Expertise in design software including Revit and BIM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and PM principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and documentation for complex architectural projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technologists.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
