The Capital Hotels is seeking a Reservationsist to respond to guest, travel agent, and referral inquiries via mail, phone, fax, or central reservation system. You will create and maintain reservation records by arrival date and alphabetically, and send confirmations promptly.

Minimum requirements include Matric and a Hospitality Diploma (or equivalent), 2–3 years' experience, and knowledge of HMS systems with Protel being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric and a hospitality diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years' reservationist experience.
• Experience with HMS systems; Protel advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and presentable communication.

Responsabilités

• Respond to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, fax, or through a central reservation system.
• Create and maintain reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing; prepare and send letters of confirmation.
• Promptly processing cancellations and modifications.
