Placements24 is recruiting a dedicated Research Scientist specializing in Analytical Chemistry for our Centurion laboratory. You will develop and validate analytical methods to support product development and quality control using instruments like HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.

You will interpret complex data, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory workflows in a rewarding R&D environment.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in analytical method development and validation.
• Hands-on with HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis and related software.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the improvement of laboratory processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related field.

• Hands-on expertise with a variety of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacopeial methods and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GLP).
