Job summary

A 1L Realization (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst to gather, document, and manage complex business and system requirements for digital financial products. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define API-driven integration needs and ensure alignment with business goals.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in BA, strong process modelling skills, and demonstrated success in Agile environments within the FinTech/ banking sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in Business Analysis and requirements gathering.
• Strong knowledge of information systems, finance, or business management domains.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, or financial services environments preferred.

Required Qualifications

• IIBA / CBAP / CCBA certification would be advantageous.
• Agile / Scrum certification would be advantageous.

Required Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a Requirements Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• 3+ years' experience within FinTech, Banking, Payments, Financial Services, or related environments.
• Proven experience gathering and documenting complex business and system requirements.
• Experience working on digital financial products, payment platforms, banking systems, or transactional solutions.
• Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams.
• Experience with system integration and API-related requirements.
• Experience supporting testing, UAT, and implementation activities.
• Strong experience with business process modelling and process improvement.
