Job summary

Concord EFS is seeking a Digital Business Analyst to guide business requirements across stakeholders and feature teams to ensure end-to-end delivery. The role requires 5+ years in a BA capacity within a software development or project environment and knowledge of financial products.

You will elicit and map requirements, define user stories, and collaborate with testing and product teams. Travel to client sites will be required to maintain alignment and successful delivery.

Qualifications

Overview

The Digital Business Analyst is accountable for guiding the business requirements by working with business stakeholders and with feature teams to ensure these are delivered effectively end-to-end. The successful candidate will require 5 years experience as a BA.

Responsibilities

• Discover the underlying business need and information related to the product and project requirements through conversations with stakeholders.
• Elicit requirements using interviews or facilitation sessions, understanding needs from multiple stakeholders.
• Identify user journeys mapping how a user will go through the system.
• Identify and define user stories or use cases.
• Work ahead of the team to gain clarity on requirements before the next iteration.
• Specify requirements by documenting them in a format that can be shared with stakeholders.
• Produce business analysis or systems analysis documents covering the agreed content, including business process descriptions, use cases/scenarios, and workflow analysis.
• Facilitate and participate in iteration meetings (product backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives).
• Manage stories, ensuring they are loaded as stories and assigned to epics; support showcasing stories to stakeholders.
• Assess and challenge assumptions that may not be feasible from a technical or execution perspective.
• Work closely with the testing team to validate test cases and assist in the testing process within feature teams and the UAT team.
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
• Travel to client sites and other locations as required; ensure stable internet connectivity and adequate power backup (UPS/inverter) where applicable.

Qualifications
