Job summary

Capital H Staffing and Advisory Solutions in South Africa seeks an Intermediate Business Analyst to join our client's Payments and Lending team. You will gather requirements, prepare BRDs, and support development and operations teams through the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in business analysis, experience with Agile, Jira, SQL, Power BI, and Visio, and a background in financial services.

Qualifications

• 3-year tertiary qualification in relevant technical/financial/analytical related field of study (Required)
• Diploma in Business Analysis from FTI or equivalent
• 3 Years + experience in similar role within a formal business analysis environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, SQL, Power BI, Visio
• Experience within the Financial Services industry would be advantageous
• Experience with Contact Centre work will be advantageous.
• Debt Collection experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assembling the business's requirements, creating a Business Requirement Document (BRD), and doing analysis to support the development and operational teams
• Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders from the business
• Document requirements and ensure traceability
• Ensure timely analysis and documentation of business requirements for the delivery team
• Communicate requirements to all stakeholders and obtain sign-off within estimates

• Define which new capabilities a project iteration will deliver.

Life Cycle Management

• Use a combination of text, matrices, diagrams, and formal models to conceptualise the business requirements.

• Act as interface with business and the delivery team during the SDLC.
• Understands and can describe the basic function of the business's core system.
• Investigate production issues and propose solutions.
