Job summary

Medipost in Pretoria Gezina is recruiting for a Replenishing Supervisor to manage stock replenishment processes and ensure priority items are handled promptly. The role emphasizes FIFO, accurate binning, and expiry date control to safeguard stock integrity and on-time dispensing of Rx’s.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12, at least 6 months in picking/replenishing, and familiarity with the Medipost app, with leadership experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee replenishing operations to ensure priority is given to consignments due for follow-up due to stock not replenished on time
• Store received items in chronological order and manage expiry dates within warehouse
• Apply FIFO principles and ensure stock is allocated to correct bins at all times
• Manage risk in deliveries, packing and stock loss due to theft, with reporting on expiry and damaged items
• Ensure stock and consumables are available to dispense Rx within budget and set timeframes

Job description

An opportunity exists for Replenishing Supervisor based in Pretoria Gezina. To manage and support the replenishing process ensuring that all replenishers give priority to parcels that are on to-follow due to stock not being replenished timeously. Storage of received items in a chronological order. Expiry date management in the Warehouse and replenished bins. Risk management within deliveries and packing of shipments. FIFO and FIFO principles to be applied. Process Management and reporting on expiry date management, damaged item analysis, and risk with regards to stock loss due to theft, to form part of the job description

Primary purpose of the job

• Operational Management
• Adherence to GPP
• To ensure Medipost Gezina has efficient Stock and consumables to dispense the required Rx’s within the set time frame and budget as per company expectation.
• Ensuring the Replenishing of all stock into picking bins and unpacking of stock from suppliers.
• Ensuring Stock Rotation and Expiry date SOP’s are followed.
• Ensuring that all stock is allocated to the correct bins at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12

EXPERIENCE:

• Picking/Replenishing experience of 6 months

Ideal: Medipost app: Extensive knowledge of the stock division on the appLeadership experience
