Job summary

Communicate Ct in South Africa seeks an Electrical/Electronic Engineer to design, develop and support engineering projects across renewables, telecoms and infrastructure. You will contribute to solar PV installations and power systems, and help design, test and commission electrical solutions.

The role requires 3–7 years of relevant experience, a degree (BEng/BSc/BTech or national diploma) and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of Electrical and Electronic Engineering experience.
• Experience in renewable energy, solar PV or power systems.
• Exposure to telecommunications or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles and industry standards.
• Experience with system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project engineering experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support electrical and electronic engineering projects
• Provide technical input into renewable energy and solar power installations
• Assist with the design, testing and commissioning of electrical systems
• Support telecommunications, power distribution and infrastructure projects
• Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting and performance analysis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver project objectives
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and engineering specifications
