• Knowledge of South African grid codes and electrical standards (SANS, IEC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for solar PV, wind turbine, and hybrid projects.
• Conduct detailed electrical load analysis, power quality studies, and grid interconnection studies.
• Specify electrical equipment including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and cabling.
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and layout drawings using CAD software.
• Perform site assessments remotely and support on-site installation and commissioning teams.
