Our client is looking for a highly motivated Remote Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Renewable Energy systems to support their projects originating from Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This role involves the electrical design, performance analysis, and integration of solar, wind, and other renewable energy solutions. You will work as part of a globally distributed team, contributing to the planning and execution of sustainable energy projects that aim to make a significant impact. You will collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and efficient energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar PV farms and wind energy installations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and electrical performance analyses for new projects.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications for inverters, transformers, and grid connections.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, regulatory standards, and safety protocols applicable to renewable energy installations.
• Provide remote technical support during the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of projects.
• Collaborate with procurement teams on equipment selection and supplier management.

Requirements
