Placements24 seeks a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to provide remote support and data-driven analysis for a growing wind turbine fleet. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and guide on-site teams through maintenance using SCADA and diagnostic tools.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience and a diploma in engineering technology, with strong communication skills for remote collaboration in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 3–5 years hands-on Wind Turbine Technician experience.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.
• Proficient with SCADA and turbine monitoring software.
• Excellent diagnostic and remote communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor real-time turbine performance using SCADA and diagnostics.
• Analyze data to identify anomalies and predict failures.
• Provide remote technical support to on-site technicians.
• Maintain logs of performance, maintenance and resolutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues.
• Contribute to remote monitoring protocol improvements.
