Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Water and Sanitation Engineer to contribute to vital infrastructure projects across South Africa. In this fully remote role, you will focus on the design and planning of water supply, treatment, and wastewater systems.

You will collaborate with a dispersed team, using digital tools to deliver sustainable solutions, and you will manage design tasks to meet deadlines while ensuring SA compliance.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering with ECSA registration or candidacy.
• Minimum of 7 years in water and sanitation engineering.
• Proven ability to design water and wastewater systems and models.

Responsibilities

• Design potable water networks including treatment and distribution.
• Develop wastewater collection and treatment plant designs.
• Perform feasibility studies and hydraulic modeling.
• Prepare specifications, tender docs, and construction guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with South African standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with remote project teams and clients.
