Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Civil Engineer with water and sanitation expertise to join our fully remote team. You will design and oversee potable water supply, wastewater treatment, and sanitation projects across communities, collaborating virtually with project managers, clients, and field teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental specialization, Pr Eng is desirable, and at least six years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental specialization.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in design and management of water and sanitation projects.
• Proficiency in water/wastewater design software EPANET, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal water supply networks including treatment plants, distribution systems, and storage facilities.
• Develop wastewater collection and treatment systems compliant with environmental regulations and public health standards.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and sewer networks to optimize performance and capacity.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and construction documentation for water and sanitation projects.
• Collaborate remotely with clients, regulatory bodies, and construction teams to ensure project success.
• Support water conservation initiatives and sustainable sanitation solutions.
