Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Warehouse Network Analyst to optimize a global warehouse network. This fully remote role focuses on data-driven evaluation, modeling, and recommendations to improve locations, capacities, and flow of goods.

Your work will design network scenarios, analyze large datasets, and communicate findings to senior management, supporting strategic decisions from a distance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain network design, logistics analysis, or operations research with warehousing focus.
• Proven expertise in network modeling software (Llamasoft, AnyLogic) and analytics tools (Python, R, SQL).
• Strong statistics, forecasting, and optimization knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance of the existing warehouse network to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain network models to simulate various logistics scenarios and assess impact.
• Use data analytics to derive insights from inventory, transportation, and warehousing costs.
• Recommend optimal warehouse locations, sizes, and distribution strategies.
