Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Operations Analyst to join a distributed freight and transportation services team. You will analyze operational data across our logistics network, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven improvements from a remote location.

The role focuses on optimizing routes, schedules, and resource allocation, tracking KPIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A 4+ year background in logistics analysis and proficiency with Excel, SQL, and BI tools

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics operations analysis or similar analytical role.
• Proven experience analyzing transportation, warehousing, and distribution data.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of logistics principles and operational best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze logistics operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes, delivery times, and resource allocation.
• Monitor KPIs for logistics operations and report on performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and propose data-backed solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and operational enhancements.
• Support the development and maintenance of logistics operational models and forecasts.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current logistics technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on operational performance and recommendations for management.
• Research and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics operations.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all operational analysis and reporting.
