Placements24 is seeking a highly creative Virtual Reality Curriculum Developer to design immersive VR educational content. This fully remote role focuses on translating learning objectives into engaging VR modules and collaborating with experts to ensure instructional effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, VR content creation, and instructional theory, with experience in Unity or Unreal Engine.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in curriculum development for digital or interactive learning.
• Demonstrated experience in virtual reality content creation or development.
• Strong understanding of instructional design and learning theories.
• Ability to work independently and in remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design immersive curricula and modules using VR platforms.
• Create engaging VR learning experiences for various ages and subjects.
• Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and VR artists for accuracy.
• Translate objectives into VR scenarios, simulations and interactive elements.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and design docs for VR content.
• Use Unity/Unreal/WebXR for content creation and prototyping.
• Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Stay updated on VR education trends and accessibility.
