Placements24 is seeking a talented Virtual Reality Content Developer to join a pioneering digital art studio. This fully remote role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing immersive VR experiences across multiple sensory levels.

You will work independently and with an international team to deliver innovative interactive narratives and art installations. The ideal candidate has a degree or equivalent in a relevant field, a strong VR portfolio, and proficiency in C# (Unity) or C++

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in relevant fields.
• Proven VR development experience with a portfolio of interactive projects.
• Proficiency in C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal Engine) and 3D asset workflows.
• Experience with 3D modelling/texturing tools (Blender/Maya/Substance Painter).
• Familiarity with VR hardware platforms and SDKs, remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive VR experiences using Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Create 3D assets, environments, and interactive VR elements.
• Implement UI and interaction mechanics for VR hardware.
• Optimize applications for performance and low latency.
• Collaborate with remote team members to define requirements and deliverables.
• Test, iterate, and integrate VR content with back-end systems or APIs.
• Stay updated on evolving VR technologies and best practices.
• Contribute ideas for new VR art installations and pitches.
