The role is fully remote, requires expertise in Unity or Unreal Engine, and a passion for applying educational theory to engaging digital content.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts, test experiences, and stay current with VR technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Proven VR development experience with an education-focused portfolio.
• Proficiency with Unity or Unreal Engine and C#/C++.
• Experience with VR hardware and SDKs.
• Knowledge of educational theories applied to immersive learning.
• Strong problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality interactive VR educational modules for diverse subjects and age groups.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to translate learning objectives into VR experiences.
• Utilize Unity or Unreal Engine to build immersive environments.
• Implement pedagogical strategies within VR simulations to maximize learning.
• Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Stay current with VR hardware, software, and educational applications.
• Ensure VR experiences are accessible and meet educational standards.
