Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Curriculum Developer to design and develop vocational training materials. This fully remote role lets you work from your preferred location while shaping curricula that meet industry standards and learner needs.

You will apply adult learning principles, collaborate with SMEs, and create manuals, e-learning modules, and assessments, ensuring content is practical, accessible, and outcomes-focused for workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of curriculum development experience in vocational or technical training.
• Experience creating digital and print learning materials.
• Proficiency with e-learning tools; Articulate Storyline preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with vocational trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive vocational training curricula, including objectives, content, activities, and assessments.
• Create manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, video scripts, and practical exercises.
• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories for learner-centered content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure curriculum accuracy and relevance.
• Develop assessment tools and strategies to measure learner competency and program effectiveness.
• Manage curriculum development projects with timely delivery of learning resources.
• Review and revise curricula based on feedback and industry changes.
• Stay informed about best practices in vocational training and curriculum development.
