Somewhere is seeking an Accounting & Operations Manager to own daily accounting workflows, supervise remote bookkeepers and fractional CFO staff, and ensure audit-ready ledgers for US tax preparation (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S).

This leadership role focuses on workflow optimization, SOP development, QA checks, and portal management in Hubflo, while maintaining clear client communications and coordinating with tax professionals to keep all deliverables on schedule.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping in a US firm with 2+ years supervising staff.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, payroll processing, and basic US tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S).
• Experience leading multi-client cleanups and complex reconciliation projects.
• Advanced proficiency in QBO, payroll systems, and portal platforms (Hubflo, TaxDome, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, autonomy, and problem-solving abilities; strong English comms.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting cleanup projects from intake to sign-off with accuracy.
• Review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, and financial statements for QA.
• Ensure timely monthly closes across all client accounts and deliverables.
• Direct full-time bookkeepers and coordinate fractional CFO support functions.
• Mentor staff, enforce SOPs, QA checklists, and process improvements.
• Manage client communications and portal architecture (Hubflo) for tax docs.
