Placements24 seeks an innovative Urban Design Architect to shape vibrant, sustainable cities in a remote-first practice. You will lead master planning, design guidelines, and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver impactful urban developments.

You bring a Master's degree and 8+ years of experience, a strong portfolio, and fluency with GIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite. This fully remote role offers autonomy, international travel, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of professional urban design experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication, presentation, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop conceptual master plans and urban design strategies for diverse urban development projects.
Analyze urban contexts, site conditions, and social/economic factors to inform design decisions.
Create detailed design guidelines, policies, and visual documentation to shape urban form and public spaces.
Collaborate with architects, planners, landscape architects, engineers, and other consultants.
Engage with community stakeholders and public agencies to build consensus and support for design proposals.
Ensure designs promote sustainability, resilience, inclusivity, and high quality of life.
