Placements24 is seeking an experienced Urban Designer to join a fully remote design studio. You will shape vibrant, sustainable urban environments through master plans, public realm strategies, and design guidelines, collaborating with planners, architects, and landscape architects.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to planning policies, with opportunities to influence urban regeneration and community well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in urban design and planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS.
• Strong ability to lead design processes and present ideas clearly.
• Strong understanding of urban morphology and placemaking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual master plans, zoning studies, and urban design strategies.
• Create site plans, renderings, and design guidelines for reports.
• Collaborate remotely with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Research urban planning best practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure designs comply with planning policies and community visions.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and public engagement sessions.
