Placements24 is seeking an analytical Upstream Operations Analyst to monitor and report on upstream oil & gas performance from a remote position. You will collect production data, build dashboards, and support decision making with data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in engineering or quantitative field, 3+ years in analytics, and proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python/R with Tableau/Power BI. Excellent communication and remote-work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical), Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years in an analytical role, preferably Oil & Gas upstream.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL and Python/R for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze operational data from upstream assets.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports.
• Identify KPIs and track operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze trends in production, costs, and resource utilization to find improvements.
• Provide data-driven insights to drilling, completions, and reservoir teams.
• Prepare regular reports on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Contribute to development of operational strategies and budgets.
• Collaborate with production, drilling, reservoir engineering, and HSE teams.
