Job summary

Bright Purple Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Senior Test Consultant to influence quality across client programmes. This remote UK role includes 1-2 days per month in the Leeds office and a high-visibility leadership position with senior stakeholders.

You will lead testing across portfolios, run workshops, shape test strategy and oversee end-to-end testing with multiple teams. A strong consultancy background and experience managing managers are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software testing, with progression to Test Manager/Programme Test Manager or above.
• Proven consultancy experience and ability to diagnose problems, present options and influence decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and senior-level trust-building.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to senior testing contact for client and supplier stakeholders, giving clear, honest advice on quality, risk and release readiness.
• Run discovery sessions, quality assessments and workshops, turning findings into practical, costed improvement roadmaps.
• Shape test strategy and quality standards across portfolios and ensure consistent application.
