Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an experienced Test Manager in Randburg to lead QA strategy and practice across projects. You will align testing activities with business goals and drive collaboration with product teams.

You will oversee test planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring functional, non-functional, and automated testing are integrated with CI/CD pipelines and stay ahead with Shift-Left principles.

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning: establish QA best practices and standards.
• Test Execution & Delivery across projects and teams.
• Oversee test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Ensure functional, non-functional (performance, security, usability) testing is performed.
• Ensure automation is integrated with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Balance manual vs. automated testing for maximum effectiveness.
• Identify and mitigate testing risks proactively.
• Ensure regression testing before every release.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance.
• Provide test status dashboards and metrics to leadership.
• Communicate risks, defects, and progress to stakeholders clearly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Adopt Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing approaches; stay updated on trends.
