Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Truck Driver to join a dynamic logistics team. In this fully remote role, you will plan routes, coordinate with dispatch, monitor shipments, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries from your home office.

You will leverage GPS tracking, logistics software, and clear communication to resolve issues, optimize schedules, and maintain accurate records, contributing to efficient freight movements across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Truck Driver or in logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with logistics software and route planning tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Self-motivated with remote-work discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize delivery routes considering traffic, delivery windows and fuel efficiency.
• Coordinate with dispatch teams to assign loads and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Utilize logistics software and GPS tracking systems to monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and expenses, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Identify and report disruptions or delays, proactively finding solutions to maintain schedule integrity.
