• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Admin, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 5 years in transportation compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Deep knowledge of SA road transport laws and safety standards.
• Experience conducting compliance audits and corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet and home office setup.
• Experience liaising with government regulators is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with national, provincial, and local transport laws and regulations governing fleet operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures related to transport safety and compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of driver records, vehicle maintenance logs, and operational procedures to identify potential compliance gaps.
• Investigate reported incidents or violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in transportation laws and advise management on adjustments.
• Develop and deliver training programs to drivers and staff on compliance requirements and safety practices.
• Manage reporting of required compliance data to regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance-related documentation.
• Assist in risk management strategies related to transportation compliance.
• Review and advise on new contracts from a compliance perspective.
