Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their fully remote security team. You will research, analyze, and disseminate actionable threat intelligence to help protect the organization from evolving cyber threats.

You will monitor open-source, dark web, and commercial feeds; develop threat models; produce intelligence reports for stakeholders; and collaborate with security teams to integrate intelligence into defensive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years in cyber threat intelligence, security analysis, or related role.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical factors influencing cyber threats and attacker motivations.
• Experience with threat intel platforms and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with malware analysis, reverse engineering, and digital forensics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open-source, dark web, and commercial threat feeds.
• Identify, assess, and report on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and actors.
• Develop and maintain threat models and actor profiles.
• Produce timely intelligence reports for security operations and leadership.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate threat intel into defenses.
• Conduct proactive research into specific campaigns and malware families.
